True Art Appreciation
The artwork in Europe was great and amazing. I was blown away by how incredible each piece looked in person. You know how you can see an art piece in a magazine or online and your thoughts are so-so about what you are looking at. Well the art pieces in The Louve Museum was completely different. I had the opportunity to examine the art images and sculptures up close and personal. The way the artists use their tools and material to create a wonderful masterpiece had my mind amazed by their gifted talent and inspiration for art. Their eye for details in a person's face and anatomy made me want to study their techniques and skill.

Bling Bling !
After receiving the championship pendant I felt great. All I could think about was the time and dedication each person put into the season to win the regular Big Ten conference. I was not sure when our team was getting our pendant or ring. I was thinking more towards the season like our first home game when we put up our banner for winning the Big Ten Regular season. After receiving the pendant, I did think about high school and the accomplishments that weren't met. I did not have the opportunity to win a championship and be rewarded for an outstanding season, so this pendant is something significant to me and a big milestone. I definitely would love another pendant finishing off my senior year and I plan on keeping my pendant locked up in a safe place.

Nikki’s Journey to Happy Valley
The reason I picked Penn State was because of Coach Quese. During the recruiting process, she had an amazing vision about winning and bringing the Lady Lion’s back to the NCAA tournament. In high school, I never had the opportunity to advance to the state finals or to win a title that would represent achievement and championships. When Coach Quese spoke about her vision to do big things like winning the Big Ten Conference Title, Big Ten Conference Tournament Title, and the NCAA appearance I could feel her passion and words come true.
