European Tour: Day #5 - Monaco

Our next stop on our Europe trip took us to Nice, France. The city sits right on the coast of the Mediterranean sea so our team took full advantage and had a beach day. The water was so refreshing and we had a great time. European beaches are slightly different because instead of sand they have pebbles. For a couple of the more adventurous members of our team, we went on a little ride that the beach offered. We sat on a large inflatable couch and got pulled through the water by a speed boat. We rode through some pretty big waves and it was so fun!

The day after, we took a short trip to Monaco. We took lots of pictures as the views from the town were absolutely gorgeous. We took a team photo from the top of a hill with the Mediterranean sea and Nice as the backdrop that was amazing.Then we went into the city of Monaco and explored a little. We ate, shopped, and even got to visit the cathedral where "America's princess" Grace Kelly was buried. Overall, the tastes, sights, and sounds of southern France were exciting and breathtaking.
