Pink Zone: A Closer Look

The Lady Lions visited Penn State Hershey Medical Center for the first time ever this week! 

We had a terrific time meeting doctors whose research is partially funded by the money raised at our Pink Zone game. Drs. Christine Truica, Karam El-Bayoumy and Andrea Manni spent time explaining their research and even taking us into the lab. 

Players also toured the infusion therapy and cancer inpatient units to greet patients and sign posters for them. We hope our visit brightened their day...they certainly brightened ours! 

The Lady Lions are excited about the 2013 Pink Zone game against Michigan on February 24th. Please come out and support this effort to help find a cure for cancer! Together we will make a difference!
