Staff Spotlight: Brandon Spayd

One benefit of being a Lady Lion is exposure to many qualified staff who help each player be her best. Assistant strength and conditioning coach, Brandon Spayd, makes sure the ladies do the hard work necessary in the weight room to endure they physical stresses of the season. We couldn't achieve greatness without him!

How long you've worked at Penn State: 3rd Season

Your day-to-day duties include...Assist with the design and implementation of year around comprehensive basketball specific physical development program, assess/educate/instruct internship program, and educate student athletes on importance of proper nutrition.

Most fun part of your job: Being able to positively influence our student athletes

One of your favorite memories since working at Penn State: Winning a Big Ten Championship

PSU team you love to support (besides the Lady Lions, of course!): Nittany Lion Basketball

State College restaurant you recommend most: Waffle Shop…great breakfast

Favorite campus location: Bryce Jordan Center

Sports played growing up: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track & Field

Sports you play now: Occasionally Golf

Place you've never been but want to visit: Caribbean Islands
